In conjunction with the NZIA Southern Architecture Awards,
Architect Megan Rule, director of South Pacific Architecture, will be giving a floor talk on our exhibition 'Monica Barham: So You're Building: You and the Architect'.

Megan Rule founded her Auckland-based practice in 2000, specializing in various architectural domains such as adaptive reuse, community, cultural, commercial, education, exhibition, landscape, master planning, marine, research, and residential projects. She has also been involved in teaching at the University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning and has served on international Architecture Award juries, including the World Architecture Festival.

Megan is a co-founder of Architecture + Women.NZ and has contributed significantly to promoting the role of women in architecture through exhibitions, publications, and landmark compendiums. She currently serves on the Auckland Urban Design Panel and the NZ Architects Registration Panel.

Megan's work has been showcased in exhibitions in Italy, the UK, and New Zealand, receiving international recognition through awards and features in publications like "Home-New Directions in World Architecture" and the "Phaidon World Atlas of 21st Century World Architecture."
