ARTIST STATEMENT

Love Ya from the Bottom of My Lungs is a meditation on grief and hope, shaped by the loss of a loved one and the gift of organ donation. Using second-hand textiles, I breathe new life into discarded materials, echoing how one life can transform another. Each cut and stitch mirrors surgical gestures, reflecting both physical and emotional repair. Slowly and softly created, this work honours memory, touch, and regeneration - showing how what is broken can be made whole again.
