ARTIST STATEMENT

First, I made the paper using a paper making machine from the opshop and then I dripped dye along the edges. It took 3 days to dry out. It's kind of hard to draw on home made paper with the bumps. I drew a cargo ship because it is easier than other boats. I used to want to be a crane operator at a port, but now I want to be a builder. My cargo ship is delivering shipping containers full of native trees.
