ARTIST STATEMENT
Parere, Separare, Se Parere is a self-appointed “Royal Totem” built through an iterative ritual of assembly and dismantling. Over eight months the artist worked daily with found materials, constructing, deconstructing, dressing, and repurposing, to test how desire is made legible. The work presents a body made of parts: corseted forms, a protruding brick, an antenna crown, and stage-like elements that frame shifting identities. A ringmaster figure proclaims control while the structure exposes dependency, compulsion, and repair. A DIY cathedral grounded yet reaching upward. By foregrounding process, the piece examines agency, authorship, and the unstable line between performance, discipline, and confession.
